Originally from Huntington Beach, Eva Kaplan joined the REPAIR Sports Institute team in the Fall of 2024 as an aide. Early in the Spring of 2025, Eva quickly marched into the role of lead aide and aide manager. She also assists with RSI’s social media.
Eva attended college in New York City, earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Fordham University in 2023, where she competed as a Division I swimmer. She continued her education at Columbia University’s Teachers College, pursuing a Master of Arts in Exercise Physiology.
Eva holds her USAW Level 1 and CrossFit Level 1 coaching certifications and is actively working toward earning her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential. Her long-term goal is to become a strength and conditioning coach for a tactical group, combining her academic background and athletic experience to support high-performance populations.
Passionate about coaching and constantly sharpening her coach’s eye, Eva finds fulfillment in building strong connections with RSI’s patients and watching them progress on their paths to recovery. Her favorite movement to work on in the clinic is the deadlift — a lift she holds close to her heart after overcoming her own back injury through physical therapy.
Beyond coaching, Eva is an avid CrossFit athlete and triathlete, constantly pushing her own physical limits. She also enjoys freediving and spending time in the ocean or outdoors in the sunshine. When she’s not training or coaching, she loves relaxing with friends, family, her boyfriend, and her two dogs.”
