Dr. Makayla Valdez earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from California State University, Fullerton, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Chapman University. Her passion for helping others move better and feel stronger developed through her diverse clinical experiences in outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics, and acute care.
Makayla has worked with a wide range of patients, including young athletes, individuals with Parkinson’s disease, and children with developmental and physical disabilities. These experiences have shaped her patient-centered approach to focusing on functional movement, strength, and confidence.
Outside the clinic, Makayla enjoys spending time at the beach, going on walks, exploring new workout classes, and making memories with her family, friends, and 2 cats. She has a love for moving her body, being in the sunshine, and traveling as much as she can!
