Dr. Amber Roberts received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Cincinnati in 2019, where she was also a member of the University of Cincinnati Dance Team for 5 seasons. Dancing her entire life and being able to compete at an elite level in the sport, sparked her passion for movement development and injury prevention. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Bellarmine University in 2023 and has since focused her career on customized performance-based rehab for active populations.
Amber’s experience thus far in her career has been centered around the treatment of runners, triathletes, dancers, individuals with Parkinson’s disease and hypermobility disorders such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). She has completed advanced certifications in courses delving into running analysis and the treatment of the runner, as well as LSVT BIG which is an evidence-based treatment approach to Parkinson’s. She also has experience in treating field athletes, stroke, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, and ALS.
Amber’s treatment approach is seeded in the belief that movement is the most effective medicine. She prides herself on combining biomechanical analysis, manual therapy and neuromuscular re-education to treat the patient as a system – prioritizing the whole individual to ensure long-lasting results and improved resiliency so her patients can show up stronger, push harder and live happier.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Amber in pursuit of a higher level of training for her next competitive race (marathon, triathlon, HYROX, etc.), watching sports or spending time with her loved ones and her sweet golden retriever. She has a love for outdoor adventures, strength training, and of course moving with purpose!
