Dr. Amanda Hua is a first-generation Chinese American physical therapist from Alhambra, California, who brings a warm smile and a unique skill set to RSI. She received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and sports psychology from California State University, Long Beach, in 2015, and her doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of Southern California in 2024. During her time as a PT student, Dr. Amanda completed clinical rotations in a variety of settings, including outpatient sports medicine and orthopedic clinics, where she treated patients with sports injuries and chronic pain conditions, as well as in prestigious hospital settings, where she treated patients with orthopedic, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.

Prior to starting her career in physical therapy, she worked in various areas, including home design, disability services, fitness modeling, yoga, aerobics instruction, and academic education. Her well-rounded experiences add a depth of knowledge, understanding and empathy to her patient-centered approach. She is passionate about helping her patients recover from injuries, improve athletic performance, and improve quality of life through physical therapy, movement, and mental training.

In her spare time, Dr. Amanda enjoys playing basketball, rollerblading, practicing yoga, going to the beach, being a tourist in her own city, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and dog.
